I’ve heard that the memory foam mattresses, while comfortable on the spine, they absorb heat and therefore can make you hot and uncomfortable while you sleep. Is there any truth to this?

going out n have some fun
I am a manufacturer of memory foam mattresses and the warmth you feel are due to people using the mattresses incorrectly. Memory foam has an “open cell” design that allows air to flow through the foam itself. Most people think that this will be enough, but it isn’t. You need to use breathable sheets and/or mattress pads with memory foam mattresses to alleviate any gathering of heat. Memory foam will actually reduce excess heat. I have found the best mattress to be air an mattresses. The foam ones seem to wrap around you and become uncomfortable and spring mattresses dont give where they need to give.
